After months of doing everything diplomatically possible to avoid direct US involvement in the war against Iran, the Iranians made it so that no other choice was possible. On Saturday evening, the United States bombed Iran.
U.S. President Donald Trump set deadlines, forced meetings in Oman, and did everything diplomatically possible to avoid having to attack Iran. But Iran refused to stop enriching uranium to weapons-grade levels and developing missiles that could strike the US. Trump made the only choice that was left – to bomb Iran.
The notification came on Truth Social (Trump’s social media network).
The strikes consisted of B-2 bombers (along with their accouterment of electronic warfare and defensive aircraft) and submarine-launched Tomahawk missiles hitting three Iranian nuclear facilities. At this time, all aircraft are believed to have completed the mission with no losses.
Any nation, state, or entity that chooses to make the United States an enemy has to understand one thing – WE are the UNITED states.
The White House has updated the president’s schedule with an address to the nation at 10:00 PM EDT on Saturday.
Now, the Pentagon is putting US forces on alert to possible retaliation by Iran or it’s puppet forces.
Media and analysts are both praising the Trump administration’s ability to keep the strike secret until after the fact.
On the more humorous side of things, some in the US media think that the bunker buster bombs used in the Iran strike have … drills on their noses… or something.
